Field Trips

Data dodania: 2015-05-18 12:53:34

We have been receiving numerous queries concerning registration for field trips.

Unfortunately, we were obliged to close registration some time ago, because there was a lot of interest in both events and maximum numbers of participants were reached.
However, the field trip organising committee have decided to do the mini-field trip (duration: about two hours) to the Cretaceous (Odra quarry) twice (Thank you, Elena and John!).

Unfortunately, we cannot do the same with the Muschelkalk trip, because this is a whole-day event.

For those of you who registered for BOTH events, the dates and time are as follows:
Friday, July 10, from 5 to 7 pm
Sunday, July 12, full day trip to Muschelkalk outcrops

For those of you who registered only for the Cretaceous, the date and time are as follows:
Sunday, July 12, morning

A detailed programme will be provided in the third circular. And please, cross fingers for goodweather conditions …

Some time ago we returned the edited abstracts.
Most of the participants have already returned the accepted versions to us, for which we are grateful. We would like the remaining to be returned to us no later than May 20.
Please, use the document which we sent back to you (not changing the formatting) and also keep the name of the file.

These may seem long and strange names to you, but to us they are very informative – thanks!

If you did not receive an edited abstract for your acceptance, please contactus a.s.a.p.
via e-mail:

In casethe FIRST author is not the PRESENTING author – please inform us who will deliver the talk – this is important informationfor us in preparing the correct programme.
If so, please send us a brief note via e-mail:

If you have any comments concerning the edited abstract(s) do not hesitate to get in touch with us; we can then forward all comments to editor-in-charge.

Please do not forget to fill in the registration form on our web-page:

Thank you for your understanding and co-operation!
